I believe we all could benefit from therapy, and after becoming a parent that need may grow. Shifting your focus to keeping two (or more) humans alive instead of just you is hard work! Between hormonal changes and relationship changes this time is unlike any other in your life. Even if you have struggled with mental health in the past, during this time, things may feel different. You don't have to go down this path alone.
We offer a variety of classes aimed at equipping you with the tools you need right where you are! Our classes include Prenatal Yoga, Mama Baby Yoga, Birth, Pregnancy & Newborn Life as well as Parenting Classes.
Athens Parent Wellbeing exists to promote the mental well-being of mothers and families throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period in the Athens area by providing education, resources, and support.
Our Breastfeeding Support groups, New Mamas groups & Maternal Mental Health groups meet weekly to encourage & help one another. We also have many other community-minded groups such as storytime & playgroups.
